So what is The British Tractor Challenge 2006?

It’s an opportunity for you to take part in this country's BIGGEST tractor rally and get into the Guinness World Records at the same time. We welcome all tractors, whether they be vintage, classic, or brand new. Our aim is simply to organise the biggest tractor rally this county has ever seen, have a fantastic day, to see 100’s of beautifully restored vehicles, look at rare and unique tractors never seen before in this county and make a lot of new friends at the same time.

We are attempting to have 2006 working tractors moving at the same time. This has never been done in this country before. As you can imagine this is going to be an enormous undertaking, but we are confident from the response so far that we can take this record and hold it for some time. This is a non-profit making undertaking and all profits made will be divided between Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Wales Air Ambulance.

When does it take place?

Good question. This momentous event is set to take place on June 24th-25th, 2006

And where?

The event will take place at Hullavington, about one mile from Junction 17 of the M4.

We have approval from 9th Supply Regiment, The Royal Logistics Corps Buckley Baracks Hullavington to use the facilities at Hullavington Airfield for the parking of vehicles & kind permission by Mr & Mrs Eavis to use their land adjoining the airfield for the record attempt on.
