The British Tractor Challenge 2006 is on and we are going to do it this time, with your help.
Tractor and Machinery magazine donated a 1948 Ferguson T20 petrol TVO for First Prize in the raffle to help us raise the finances needed to put this mammouth event on. Dave Hooker, a member of our challenge committee, donated a fergie plough to go with the Challenge tractor. Watson Petroleum kindly donated £250.00 for Second Prize. We also have a fergie plough that will be restored with parts sponsored by Westlake Ploughs to be raffled as Third Prize when fully restored.

We will have many other prizes donated by supporters of our challenge.

Each tractor that is entered in the event on the 25th June 2006 will be given a draw number that will be entered in to the draw for a restored tractor. This tractor was kindly donated to our challenge by a friend from our last attempt in August 2003, Mr George Walker from Norfolk, who has given the challenge a Fordson Power Major to be restored. Lackham Agricultural College have agreed to restore this tractor.

We hope to have a video account of this restoration as it progresses and have updates on the website and also in our promotional publicity.
